HOT OUT OF THE OVEN

Hi, welcome to my blog. This is my place to talk, rant, rave, babble or just write about art glass beads, great finds, lampworking, new techniques that I am learning, ones that I want to learn, fabulous foods, etsy, country life, and any other subject that comes to mind! There are links to my beads that are for sale if you care to see them, if not, just make yourself at home here and join me in some banter. Cheers, Ellen

ETSY JEWELRY SAMPLER TEAM GIVE AWAY

This is my starter Swap Out Bracelet...it has a screw on ball end and two smart beads that hold your focal (or multiple beads center), it is a fun bracelet as it lets you just swap out beads according to your mood. The focal that I am providing is one of my uncored Pandora/Trollbead style beads and was made with premium silver reactive glass. Good Luck for all who enter the give away!

She Picks Sea Shells at the Sea Shore

I had to share this new bracelet that I made for myself. I was beginning to feel like the proverbial "Shoemaker's Wife" who had no shoes, in this case the bead maker who had no beads, lol. I grew up on the beach, and have always loved the ocean, so when I saw the silver components for this bracelet, I just knew that I had to have them to go with some beads that I was saving for this occasion. Feel free to leave comments and don't forget to start following me, I know that I have a fabulous give away planned for August. I will be writing about it soon.

Silver Threads and .....

no Golden Needles here, but instead one huge web! I finally found my other digital camera and decided to take a few pics of the roses and garden and much to my delight I found a couple of spidey pics on the disc that was still inside the camera. These photos are of Banana Spiders which are abundant here in Florida in the winter. This lady decided to live on our back porch and her web took up about 4 + feet of it! If you look closely you will see a couple of meals for her…and those would be the male of her species. Gotta love it.
